Per Mauritzson

Head of Operations / CEO

Per is an experienced civil engineer with extensive expertise in the fishing industry and maritime vessels. He has worked as a first mate and co-owned a freezer trawler operating in the Arctic Ocean under the Faroese flag, where he was responsible for optimizing onboard production, achieving an annual output of 5,200 tons of whitefish. Throughout his career, he has also converted two freezer trawlers into filleting factories in Argentina and purchased fish for the European market. In Namibia, he transformed boats into filleting factories, and in Iceland, he ran his own fish processing plant with an annual production of 3,000 tons. Per has a solid background in both practical and strategic production within the global fishing industry.

Jonni Olin

Chief Financial Officer

Jonni Olin has been working in accounting, finance, and consulting across various industries since 1993. Although he is new to the fishing industry, Jonni brings a wealth of expertise in financial management and process optimization. His strengths include delegating responsibilities to industry experts, compiling essential data, and enhancing process and liquidity flows. Throughout his career, Jonni has successfully managed financial operations and negotiations, leading to profitable exits. Notably, he turned around a struggling hotel with a restaurant and entertainment, reversing a negative trend and achieving a successful and profitable exit. His diverse experience makes him a valuable addition to the team.

Robert Johanesson

Chief Operations Officer

Robert Johannesson is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of expertise in production and quality management within the food industry, particularly in fish and dairy production. Over the years, he has worked on implementing HACCP systems and ISO standards to ensure the highest quality and hygiene in manufacturing processes. With extensive experience as a production manager, Robert has been responsible for everything from production planning and cost calculation to raw material procurement and customer relations. He has also led transitions from frozen to fresh production lines in several companies. In his current role as Production and Sales Manager, Robert oversees the sales and logistics of approximately 20,000 tons of fish annually, working closely with Per.

Arn Björnsson joins the team with 25 years of experience and an impressive track record in building tuna processing plants. He has worked in international locations such as Yemen and Oman, where he played a key role in developing and operating modern fish processing facilities. Arn is renowned for his expertise in both technical construction and process optimization, making him an invaluable asset to the company. His vast experience and global perspective strengthen the team and contribute to future success in the fishing industry.

Elio Nevess

Chief Captain

Captain Elio Neves has over 35 years of experience in tuna fishing worldwide and is a recognized leader in his field. He is currently serving as a captain in the Pacific Ocean, based in Ecuador, where he is responsible for both vessels and crew. Elio is looking forward to shifting his focus to the Atlantic, bringing him closer to his home in the Azores. With his extensive experience, he will oversee both the ships and the staff on deck. His deep knowledge and leadership make him an invaluable asset to the company.
